Out of the Shadows ~ acrylic on canvas ©2018

Out of the Shadows is an acrylic on canvas painting I made in 2018. When I made a print of it I overlaid the text above. It was printed as an A1 banner and first exhibited in this form in the Bloomsbury Festival at Atelier Tamman Gallery, London in September 2018. Since then the banner has travelled to many exhibitions:

FiLiArt exhibition in Manchester in October 2018,

A Guerrilla Showcase, Westminster, London UK in December 2018,

Exhibitions in Brazil, and in Argentina in March 2019,

and in Leeds UK in 2019.

Out of The Shadows was in an art exhibition alongside the work of twenty four other artists at the Civil Society Forum in Geneva on 28 October 2019 and also at the UN for the regional review meeting on Beijing+25 at the UN in Geneva from 29 – 30 October 2019.
